Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab 10.1. The 3G versions of Galaxy Tab 10.1 device are still to be revealed. The device has an 10.1-inch WXGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 800. The device is just 8.6mm thin. That\’s 0.036mm thinner than the iPad 2 .

The device also claims to have a battery life of 10 hours from its 6800-mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as the thinnest tablet in the market. The Galaxy Tab10.1 is slightly heavier than the iPad 2 .

The device will come with 16GB and 32GB storage variants at launch. Galaxy Tab10.1 also comes with stereo speakers, full HD video playback, a 2MP Front facing camera, 3MP rear camera with flash and can record video at 720p HD. The Galaxy Tab10.1 inch boasts of a 1GHz dual core processor running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, has Samsung\’s TouchWiz 4.0 layer and Flash 10.2 support.
